For example, I use a Waterman fountain pen every day and don't mind going through the pain of refilling ink. So, when I got this Tag automatic chrono as a gift from my wife, I was simply thrilled. The watch is simply magnificent. I kept staring at the seconds hand, its motion made me feel nostalgic. Well, I saw my dad wearing such stuff when I was a kid, but since I started wearing watches, quartz watches started dominating the market and I actually never got a chance to wear any mechanical watches until I got this Tag.
Nostalgia aside, this Link model from Tag I think is a very good one. It gets a couple of seconds fast every day, but I guess you need to accept it. After all, you don't buy automatic chrono for timing accuracy. A $20 watch can serve you better for that purpose. Get the black faced model, July 8, 2012 This review is from: TAG Heuer Men's CAT2010.BA0952 Link Chronograph Watch (Watch) I originally purchased this model, except with the white face. After a couple of days I realized this was a mistake, had hard time reading the main dials since there was very little contrast between the face and the hands.
Since I bought it at an AD (who had a 30 trial policy) I took it back and exchanged for this model, which is breath taking in person, much better then what the photo depicts.
